Jonah Dragan, an author, early childhood educator, and professional storyteller, has been writing in one form or another for as long as he can remember. In lyrical prose and flowing verse, he spins tales of marvelously eldritch places. His characters come in all manner of wild shapes and sizes, but look closer and you’ll find human hearts beating within.

Affectionately known to his preschool students as “Mr. Dragan” (yes, pronounced just like the fire-breathing lizard), Jonah lives in Brooklyn, New York with one husband and over one thousand picture books. He is a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and sits on the Bank Street Children’s Book Committee. He has several completed picture book manuscripts, available upon request, and is currently seeking representation.
